Comfort Hotel® Göteborg

Although this hotel has good proximity to Chalmers University, that all the good I can really say about it. No kind words of the staff, no kind words of the room or amenities. Better iff if you can affors to stay elsewhere. I wouldn't stay here again.

Came here for New Year's and a week 30th Dec 2023 to 6th Jan 2024. I have loved every minute of it. It has been very cold but right clothing and wrapped up its been stunning. Hotel is pleasant and ud in a great location. So much to see and places to go. Breakfast is nice.. and rooms comfortable. I would deffo stay here again. Thank you to everyone for having me. The worst hotel to stay at in Gothenburg. Despite the wonderful people at the reception, the hotel is very dusty, and the service is very slow. We checked into a room with water leakage, so we asked to move to another room. The housekeeping took forever to fix the extra bed ( no bed sheets) I was at the reception while the receptionist was talking to the housekeeping, also begging her to fix our second room and explaining why. I asked for extra bed sheets and extra towels, which took almost 6 hours, so I went to the reception and picked them up myself. The receptionist was surprised that they were not delivered to our room. The breakfast is very poor. I am gluten-free, so there is no gluten-free bread. No clean breakfast items (see picture). The room was so dusty that you had to clean your clothes and items every day. Out of my above experience at your hotel, and with my 10 years in the hotel industry, neither myself nor my clients will step into your hotel again.

A very nice stay at Comfort Hotel Göteborg ❤️ Nice upgrade to Deluxe room on 6:th floor waited on me at check-in. About rooms at Comfort Göteborg you can get them on the side close to TaKeT rooftop bar or the opposite side depending on if you like party and music (they close and turn down music around 23), my room was on opposite side and very quiet. The Deluxe room had a very nice balcony with a good view (partly facing sea). It is easy to park the car close to the hotel and it is also on close distance for train station and tram. Location close to popular Järntorget is perfect for nice bars and restaurants. This is a favorite comfort hotel in Gothenburg i so much can recommend. Also nice breakfast and also good nice calm area to enjoy breakfast. The people working here are nice and they claim this comfort hotel also host a truly good restaurant, unfortunately I had no chance to try it. Very fresh room and newly refurbished, also good bed and perfect sleep quality. all my recommendations to this Comfort hotel for a great Gothenburg stay.

Exellent servlce, clean rooms and delicious breakfast. Extra points for crispy bacon and trays in breakfast buffet - really made it easy and quick ”one stop” business travel breakfast. The room was accessible and clean, allergies were taken into account and the room was with a gorgeus view of the bay. Note that the trams do drive during the late hours and the sound did keep me awake. If you are not used to city traffic noise, do ask for a quiet room. The hotel is huge so ask for a room close to elevators. Rooftop bar is definately worth visiting! Non-alcoholic sparkling wine available
