Clarion Hotel® Malmö Live

I would love to just once in a while check into a Swedish Clarion hotel and be pleasantly surprised, but come on, this place is way below your typical two-star Fairfield Inn outside the Nordics. Where do I even begin? The room was freezing. The bed uncomfortable and cramped. The TV had so few channels - paired with no streaming opportunities - that you might as well remove it. The number of outlets was truly laughable and the towels seemed like something they found in the bargain bin of a store going out of business. As the icing on the cake, the wifi didn’t work in my room and the restaurant is horrible. They get two stars since they at least had a door on the shower (which is a rarity for Clarions in Sweden). One wonders if anyone at Stawberry has ever visited a chain hotel outside of the Nordics?

The room we recieved was perfect for my disabled son since it met his needs! Super friendly hotel staff, and the breakfast was to die for. The surrounding area has great food places as well in case you're hungry during your endevours. 11/10 will come back next February

The conference areas are great, the staff is incredibly friendly. Rooms are spacious, modern, clean and have all the things one may need. Breakfast is also good and has a great selection of food to choose from.

This hotel is so great. Lovely rooms and great bathrooms. We have been coming for years and they keep it nice and clean every where. But the state of the hotel is not the reason for this review. The front desk is so helpful and nice. We have tried twice over the years that we needed last minute changes to departure dates or when we did celebrate our 25 years of marriage and a couple we invited got sick, we didn’t need to pay for the room we didn’t need. They also find a good solution to your problems so you feel like a valued guest. Try them for yourself, you won’t be disappointed.

Excellent hotel. What a polite personal. The hotel is right next the central station and near to coffee shops and generally everything is near. The breakfast amazing with so many alternatives. The view from the room also stunning as you can see the whole city from above.
