Clarion Grand Hotel® Helsingborg

The no frills hotel has absolutely no frills; no service, not convenient. It was impossible to find anyone to help. The parking garage app didn’t work. Very frustrating for all the guests. I had to find a hotel employee to help me as well as 4 other guests trying to pay for parking. The rooms are very small and uncomfortable. We had a superior room that had a view of somebody’s apartment. There was one server in the lobby bar to accommodate the multitude of guests. She did her best but was quite overwhelmed with the requests. Only 2 luggage carts to haul your luggage from the parking garage to your room. I would never stay at another Clarion Hotel again. We couldn’t wait to leave!!!

The hotel staff was good and varm. The location close to the see and central. The breakfast so delicious. The beds are OK. We were on second floor and furniture was very nice. Just have not private parking for the gust.

Lovely building and decoration in a central location but if you want a good night’s sleep, I’d book one of the more modern hotels. No air conditioning which means one has to sleep with the windows open even in May, which means lots of outdoor noise, which is unbearable with cars racing around until 2am. Beds uncomfortable with a big gap between two single beds they put together to make a “king” bed. We had to stuff duvets to stop our toddler from falling in between the beds. The extra sofa bed is very uncomfortable with the thinnest of mattresses. Out of all the hotels I’ve stayed in the past three years with two kids, the only one that has charged for 150ml of baby milk (40SEK).

A good central hotel close to the harbor. Got a nice large room with “sky-window” and a reasonably sized bathroom. The checkin/checkout was fast and convenient. In the hotel there is a nice bar/restaurant where you can find a good meal/drinks.

Fabulous hotel with amazing service, good location, beautiful interior design, and lots of plant based options at the breakfast. Best Clarion I've stayed at so far. I would recommend this hotel in a heart beat.
