I got was assigned to a superior room on the 5th floor, which had a nice view towards the Bryggen. The room itself was well appointed, and spacious. Large Smart tv, king bed, sitting area, and a large bathroom with bathtub (not too common in Norway these days).
Complimentary waffles was served during the afternoon, complimentary dinner was served in the evening - it was nicely prepared and displayed - salads, chicken, herring, cheese, fruits, rice, stewed vegetables, etc... very nice. The breakfast was absolutely amazing as well - I have never seen a breakfast looking so inviting and fresh. Very impressive! Loved their high-quality bacon :) There is an omelette station there as well.
Wifi worked well and was fast.
The hotel is very cosy and has a lot of atmosphere. It is not dull like the Radisson.
Would definately come back!
Hehe, funny note: I had a seagull knocking on my window every morning. I had to keep the curtains closed during the day, cause when he saw me in the room he started knocking the window with his peak. With the curtains closed he could not see me, and then he wouldnt annoy me.
