About Clarion Collection

Clarion Collection Hotel Bryggeparken enjoys a beautiful location at the quayside in central Skien. A modern hotel with a view of the beautiful Telemark Canal, and every evening we offer a complimentary evening meal.

Excellent location in Skien

Clarion Collection Hotel Bryggeparken is located by the Telemark Canal, in central Skien. Here you have the city's selection of shopping and restaurants on your doorstep. Furthermore, Skien's main attractions including Ibsenhuset cultural centre Brekkeparken park and Bø Sommarland water park are all close by. Although the hotel was built in 2001, it's reminiscent of the classic brick buildings that used to be in the old Langbryggene port area.

Complimentary evening meal

We want you to find tranquillity and feel at home when you stay at our hotel. Which is why we serve a complimentary light evening meal between 6pm – 9pm every evening. That way you never have to worry about where to go for dinner, because there'll always be something to eat 'at home'.

Conference opportunities

Our seven meeting rooms make us your obvious choice for meetings and conferences in Skien.

Hotel history

Clarion Collection Hotel Bryggeparken is located in an area with a long maritime history. Skien was once Norway's largest timber processing hub. Due to its large port, it then became Norway's contact point with the rest of Europe. Although shipping activity has now subsided, the port area continues to be a central part of the city, with Clarion CollectionHotel Bryggeparken as the obvious starting point. 23
