1. Stockholm, Sweden: Traditional Christmas markets at Skansen and in the Old Town
Sweden's capital city is stunningly beautiful during the winter months and visitors can enjoy two wonderful, traditional Christmas markets here. The Christmas market in the incredibly idyllic Old Town is open every weekend from 24 November - 23 December.

Enjoy the beauty of agricultural traditions at Skansen's Christmas market every weekend from 24 November - 16 December.

2. Christmas at Liseberg, Gothenburg, Sweden
Gothenburg main tourist attraction is popular at Christmas too! You'll find something to suit all ages here. Open almost every day right up until Christmas from 16 November.

3. Tivoli in Copenhagen, Denmark
If you'd like to experience a real Danish Christmas then you should make your way to Copenhagen and Tivoli's Christmas market from 17 November to 31 December. This year the theme is a celebration of light! You're certain to get in the mood for Christmas with a bit of Danish "hygge"!

Santa makes an appearance every day and the classic carousels are free for all!

Something special: Baltic Christmas in Riga
Sip some spiced tea, try some roasted almonds and lots of other Christmas treats in one of the most beautiful and well-preserved cities in the Nordic/Baltic region! The Christmas market in Cathedral Square in Riga (Doma laukums) is open from 1 December - 6 January 2019.
