Bad Gastein is a truly idyllic alpine village.
Only 1 hour and 22 minutes from Salzburg you find the popular resort Bad Gastein. The Gasteiner valley is part of to the national park Hohe Tauern, offering as much as 600 km of hiking trails. In other words, there is something for everyone here, whether you are looking for an easy walk or more advanced, alpine hikes.

Cervinia – a summer paradise with a view over Matterhorn

In the Aosta valley, 2050 m above sea level you find busy Cervinia – a popular destination for both skiers and those who want to go hiking, river rafting or golfing. The area around Cervinia and Matterhorn is also renowned for its cycling. Cyclists from all over the world come here to experience the wonderful bike trails.
For those who enjoy a round of golf, Italy’s most elevated 18-holes golf course is located not far from Cervinia. Here you also find more than 200 km of hiking trails for both beginners and pros. The trails boast a spectacular scenery and lead you along peaceful alpine lakes.
If you can’t wait for winter, you can strap on your skis and head to Plateau Rosa’s glacier.
Val Gardena – sunny fairy-tale world
Val Gardena’s unique mountains either look grey or have an orange shine, depending on the angle of the sun.
Val Gardena is part of Unesco World Nature Heritage because of their unique mountains, shaped by fossilised coral reefs and algae growing some 250 million years ago on the bottom of the sea Tethys.
