Mucho Mas

At Grünerlökka we find the small restaurant Mucho Mas. Good Mexican food with an American twist has been served here since 1996. At Mucho Mas, you get large portions at a reasonable price – the vegetarian Tex-Mex platter is a popular order that costs around a hundred Norwegian crowns.

Keep in mind that the restaurant is very popular – if you want a table at the weekend, you should arrive in good time as it is not possible to book tables. Just fifteen minutes’ walk from the restaurant, you will find Comfort Hotel Xpress Youngstorget – an affordable hipster hotel in the heart of Oslo.

Combine your vegetarian Tex-Mex dish with a nice drink at Mucho Mas!

Funky Fresh Foods

In the same area as Mucho Mas and Comfort Hotel Xpress Young Square, we find Funky Fresh Foods. Food here is made with exciting flavours and sparkling colour combinations. In addition to cooking good food, they also put a lot of effort into spreading knowledge and awareness about food and how it affects us and our environment. Funky Fresh Foods is a popular vegan place, serving everything from wraps to burgers and tapas.

Vegan Loving Hut

On Fredensborgsveien in central Oslo is the international café chain Vegan Loving Hut. Here they sell only entirely vegetarian food and the range is large – from vegetarian sushi to spring rolls and steak. Clarion Collection Hotel Folketeateret is a modern hotel in a historic building that you will find to be very close by. After extensive refurbishment, the hotel opened again in 2009 as one of Oslo’s most exclusive locations.
