Clarion Collection® Hotel Temperance

We stayed here for one night and loved it. The staff were unbelievably helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The evening dinner was lovely and breakfast was amazing - so much choice and we loved the ginger shots. We used the gym which was great too. A perfect hotel in a perfect location.

We had a very pretty, silent and clean room.The staff was very nice, welcoming and helpfull when we needed help with something. The location was pretty and everything we needed was in close range, so that was perfect for us. I’m sure that if we ever come for a visit we would pick this hotel again!

I stayed here for one night during the height of the Christmas market season and was so pleased with my experience at the hotel. The location was very convenient to the market and an easy walk from the train station. The room was clean and quite spacious. Breakfast was abundant and well-staffed, and the evening meal was a wonderful bonus--tasty and plentiful. The hotel succeeds at offering an upbeat, comfortable, homey space for travelers of all types (solo, couples, family).

We stayed between Christmas and New Year and were pleasantly surprised that hotel was much nicer than expected. Decor/Lighting were both exceptional. Seemed a little short staffed - receptionist was also bar maid - but maybe because of the time of year. We paid for a superior room, it was spacious and lovely. It was a little hot and there’s no air con nor can you open a window. However, we got a fan from reception and that helped massively. Lots of hot water for baths and showers which was great. Meals. Breakfast was exceptional. Cake and dinner not so much. If you were a budget traveller then they would do but ‘Mexican Night’ was a plate of dry nachos and a plate of pulled meat of some sort. We didn’t bother after the first night. Still fair play to the hotel for offering something. Overall we loved our stay but wouldn’t like to be there in summer with the room temp.

Booked via Choice via points for 8000 points per night, for 3 nights...what a deal! Checked in early as i was arriving from CPH (around 10AM); room was not ready so i went touring for a few hours. I left my luggage in a storage area in the basement. At my return, i was provided a room on 4th floor, small european size, with double bed, small fridge and safe, LCD TV, small work desk and a rather small bathroom/shower (like the ones you find in Asia...just a curtain to delimitate the shower); the problem with that was once the floor was wet after bathing, it took a while to dry...an the bath mat was drenching wet if it was too close to the shower. Other negative was very spotty wifi. The plus at this hotel is the food. Breakfast and dinner were included in the price! Breakfast was fantastic, with various eggs (personalized soft boiled eggs!), 4 breads, cold cuts, salads, cereals, juices, and a nice ginger based shot. Dinner was a bit more hit and miss....very rustic swedish food, a different dish each night...one night. the fish was overcooked. Still, satisfying. There is a small gym and sauna in the basement, in front of storage area. Nothing special. I would have given this place 5 stars if it was not for the small bathroom and bad wifi.
