The Clarion Collection Hotel Temperance is located in central Malmö in the Gamla Väster district, just a short walk from the pedestrianised street with a good variety of shops and restaurants. The Gamla Väster district is the oldest and most charming part of the city, and Malmö's best designer shops and art galleries can be found here. The city's main attractions including Västra Hamnen and Lilla Torg are also within easy rich.

From steam kitchen to popular hotel

The Clarion Collection Hotel Temperance has a long and exciting history. The building was constructed in 1902 as a combined steam kitchen, hotel and non-alcoholic restaurant. The steam kitchen concept came from Germany with the intention of providing the poorer population a nourishing and inexpensive diet. At that time, the hotel rooms cost 1.25 SEK per night. We have preserved the charm and added modern luxuries. Warm colours of green and gold create a wonderfully relaxing ambiance.
